We'll give thanks to you, with gratitude,
for lessons learned to hunger after you.

Indeed, I am extremely grateful for many things that have happened in this half school year, and the word "gratitude" alone will NOT suffice. Not only to many people do I owe this new found joy in school life, but most of all to my father that has never ever faltered while playing my pillar of support.
Yes, I'm grateful.

Firstly, I'd like to thank my dearest CENTRAL 2.
Family is the word I'd use to describe them. They love, maybe not unconditionally, but selflessly. It amazes me greatly to be able to witness and feel their support and love, this half year. From my assimilation into the "best class" 2/3, which was definitely not just a piece of cake. Their prayers and constant sms-es never ever fail to make me smile, they're really my family. JoanC, Joanne, Joan Ng, Persis, Pamela, Amelia, Rachel, Crystal, Amberlie, Charis, Daphne, Kele, Kendrick, Cheeyann, Isaac, Mong, Benton, Shaun, and many more precious ones. I'm grateful for each and everyone of you, my little sunshines.

They shine for me so much there's global warming, yo.

Next, my POWER 7.
Laughter would be the word that reminds me of them, or rather, the word that springs to mind the same time they do. They mean NO LESS to me than Central 2. And yes Celina and Jinni, that's true. We have had tiffs, but honestly, it IS inevitable to have a few quarrels here and there. Maintaining an everyday friendship is NOT easy, and it tells me that we are THAT close, because we can fight. We wouldn't fight if we weren't close, yeah? Thanks for being there, being so joyful, being so different. Don't ever, ever, ever, conform to the world's definition of "high", please don't ever. Because you are so special for who you are. And I can say it so loud and proud, I have NEVER seen another 7 like us. (: And you know what? We each know our dreams, maybe what we're lacking now, is knowing that they ARE going to come true. And my sisters, that's faith. I love you, JODIE, ARIEL, HANNAH, DAPHNE, JINNI AND CELINA. You mean the school to me.
They're 99% of my new-found school life joy.

Of course, how could I forget? My other MEGALIFERS
Candy. Not only sweet but gives me a sugar high. Awesome people, awesome awesome people.

Carissa Jie for being such an unwavering tower of support throughout my exam period, never failing to cheer me up and spur me on with her "jiayou"s and for congratulating me about my results even though they were 123456789. And just for being her, honest her, cute her, sunshine her, sexy her. She's been such a blessing, for just being her. (: And girl, take your mind of the game of life, because there are time-outs, and these time outs last as long as you want. (: I'll be there, during the game AND the time-outs. And like I always say, let the joy of the Lord be your strength. Thanks for being so much, I love you(:
Jae for being such an awesome brother, always willing to listen and also smile anytime I needed! :D And his birthday just being over, I know God's gonna bless him so much, and bless many others through him too. Also for the prayers and encouragements that date quite far back, they mean quite a fair bit to me (: Also for being extremely understanding. :D Hey you, keep shining for God okay, I know you're a great warrior for God, so keep up this fight okay. There is strength in numbers, you're really never alone. Thanks for everything, really(:
Lianne for being so extremely cute and a huge huge huge bundle of joy in each thing she does, even the way she talks. (: heh! and for being so so efficient in arranging gym meets, which unfortunately we never had a chance to have. But still! :D And being the connecting bridge between me and gillian whom I've not seen in ages (i just saw her). Thanks for being such a cutie lianne, and what in the world is MUNG BEAN? -.- haha! Alright in all your ways acknowledge him, and he'll make your paths straight. You ARE a child of God, and that makes you a princess, you are worth it, God said so! :D Jesus loves you and I do too (:
Prawn for being the bus buddy who has made travelling back to the west impossibly fun. (: all the lame jokes and sharing through MSN. And also her sweet smses that wish me good night, they really leave me numb, knowing I'm safe not only in the arms of my father, but also in the embrace of my loving friends. Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress. I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honour depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. See! This is how blessed I am, to sleep with this kinda stuff in mind. Prawn! Thanks for being such a big joy to me, and let's continue to scale the heights for God even to the "ends of the earth"! It's worth it, and it'll always be! (:

The final group, SMSS RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS!
Tears is what I'd associate gymming with. A sad word, but definitely not a sad meaning. I've gotten this from hpps gym, but really. Gym is so the love! I've been slacking, but I know that when I'm at the top of my game, I really feel different, a player. A victor. And it might not be proven literally, but in Christ we are all victors, yeah!
XJT 2007. Edrea, Evelyn, Elaine, Sufen, thanks for being such enjoyable teamates and chickens (: I remember the many times we had to pao like mad and we all ended up in tears. And of course, I remember the times we went to the parade ground to pao and it was SUPER hot and we all couldn't take it. Oh please, I didn't forget the whole taxi experience. (: And most of all, the competition. It seemed like a miracle to get 3rd. But that will not be the MARK for St Margs xiao ji tis to come. :D Let's not limit our future juniors, because they sure have talent! I do remember each training we had together, our tears and the cheers we had, and the feeling when we strut off that competition mat, thanks for the memories (:
Alex, Becky Tan, Becky Chia, my current group. It's SUCH an honour to be able to compete alongside you guys. I still feel extremely inferior though -_- hahaha! I'm really sorry in advance for the many times I'm going to slow you guys down, please forgive me! It's kinda a big jump, but I'll do my best. I really thank God we're all God believers, because then our team's atmosphere would be really different. I trust that God's gonna give us all we need to do well this round. In christ alone, for christ alone. JIAYOU! :D
Jodie Chan Wan Wen. Ju-die tou lan ah, JUDIE BU YAO KEN JIMMY TOU LAN/JIANG HUA! It's been FUNNY, extremely funny to be able to laugh with you in gym. It's been a blessing to be able to have you right by myself. Thanks for being my greatest source of support and joy, I really don't know what I'd do without you. Keep your alien flexibility up and I know you'll beat HER. HAHA. (shhhh gladys)
Reylyn, Michelle, Cheryl. The pros. Keep fighting hard, and even though we aren't in the same event, I'm really looking forward to training with you guys (: heh. This is random, but I do hope we all catch the ball for forward roll -_- hahaha okay! Erm anyway you guys have got great talent so jiayou jiayou, we're all in this together! (:
XJT 2008, I have to admit, I don't know ALL your names. I KNOW 4 OKAY, so for that one person, I shan't post it (: You guys are doing great, but progress should never be STAGNANT. There's really no such thing as "good enough". You guys, like us last year, really have the ability to hype ourselves up. And yeah, like in our comprehension it said, hype yourself up to the game. I know that in each one of you there's great potential, so bring it on okay! Don't be shy (: Shake butt harder lah you guys, don't be paiseh! Continue to carry down the tradition of winning xiao ji tis. These 5 ropes are gonna go places yeah!

I realised that within the course of this half a school year, my perception of everyday so called boring school life has changed DRASTICALLY. Many experiences, opportunities, have shaken my concept of boring, when it comes to St Margs. God, above all, has been touching me endlessly, through my school, and it has come to show me I AM in safe hands. Firstly, RITCHELL who showed me through songwriting, even though she was blind and a premature and weak baby, she overcame the odds and is indeed, a shining light for God. Also, the opportunity to lead SINGSPIRATION sessions in school has been an extreme joy, to be able to serve God there. And the time we had singspiration at the St Andrews Cathedral, I really thank God for that chance. Not to mention, the many DEVOTIONS that touched me, the stories, the songs and some, even the little things they do. The AUTONOMOUS STATUS given to our school, ensuring that the future generations of dotties were going to be blessed. The SM CELL which will continue to grow strong in God's love. Even the time when the megalifers came to school for the SEC 2 CAMP, for which I fought fever in an extremely tough battle just to go to school. And also for MARTIN who shared a few things that would forever change my perspective on life. TEACHERS, whom I curse dearly, they have been a blessing too. Suddenly people that used to be losers in my life, they've become heroes, Gohster, Lowster, how's it like to live against the world? They can do it-with a smile. Now, that's a hero. Last but not least, each day in St Margs, which has shown me there IS more to life than books an calculators, and there is hope in each circumstance.

Therefore, I'm sure you see.
Gratitude alone cannot suffice.

I've given up counting my blessings, for my God's grace is, without a doubt, sufficient for me.

For all you've done and who you are,
I really rather be no one else,
