What God can do with ordinary people to make them extraordinary, it's amazing. (: What a wonderful world.
I've got something to tickle you guys with today! :D My dad went for a poetry class at Laselle and he brought home some materials. I was looking through them, and I found the BAD EXAMPLES OF METAPHORS USED IN O LEVELS AND IGCSE. Omg, so funny. Read on. :D
Her hair glistened in the rain, like nose hair after a sneeze.
The ballerina extended a slender leg backwards, like a dog at the lamppost.
He was as lame as a duck. Not the metaphorically lame duck either, but he was actually lame. Maybe from stepping on a land mine or something.
She had a deep, throaty, genuine laugh, like the sound a dog makes before it throws up.
His thoughts tumbled in his head, making a breaking alliances like underpants in a tumble dryer
she walked into my office like a centipede with 98 missing legs
It hurts, just like how it feels when you accidentally staple your tongue to the wall.
John and Mary had never met. They were like 2 hummingbirds which also never met.
The plan was simple, like my brother. But unlike Phil, this plan might just work.
It came down the stairs looking very much like something no one had ever seen before.
